Lost bicycles found on the R37 by local police

BURGERSFORT – The Burgersfort SAPS are asking for your help to identify two bicycles that were found abandoned on the R37, next to the Bothashoek turn-off.According to the spokesman for the SAPS, Const Victoria Maluleke, the bicycles were brought to the station by a resident.”We had a good Samaritan who found the bicycles on the side of the road. They might have fallen from a vehicle that travels on the busy R37,” Maluleke said.She said to collect them the owners have to bring proof of a receipt to the station.The SAPS also asked locals to refrain from buying stolen goods. This comes after the police arrested a 29-year-old man from Tukakgomo for the possession of suspected stolen property. According to Maluleke, the man was found with a drilling machine worth approximately R400 000.”We advise communities to stop buying goods through back doors. They will be arrested for possession of suspected stolen property.”
