Bus accident leaves at least 30 injured

The patients were taken to Mapulaneng Hospital in Bushbuckridge to be treated.

A Great North bus, travelling in the direction of Bushbuckridge overturned on the R533 yesterday leaving at least 30 commuters injured.

According to LowMed, which was one of eight emergency medical services that rushed to the scene, said only two patients were moderately injured, while the others sustained minor injuries.

Though it seems like the driver of the bus lost control of the vehicle, the exact cause is yet to be determined.

The patients were taken to Mapulaneng Hospital in Bushbuckridge to be treated.
