BURGERSFORT – Residents of Ga Motodi are saddled with the burden of improper access to their community.
According to them, many complaints were made to the Fetakgomo Greater Tubatse Municipality(FGTM) with regards to the damaged Tswetlane Bridge.
Children have to cross the bridge daily and recently two were injured when they fell into the trench.
“The bridge looks dilapidated and damaged. We tried renovating it with our own materials back in 2014 but it’s worse. now. We are pleading for a proper bridge from the municipality. If they fail, they must at least donate materials and we can rebuild it,” a member of the community remarked.
The residents further claimed that there was a need for an access road to this community.
Attempts to obtain comments from FGTM proved futile.
