Be part of keeping TRAC of Old Joe

In its 90th year as a roadside feature on the N4 to the Lowveld, Old Joe, the iconic man-like painted stone at Patattanek at the top of Schoemanskloof, is about to become a collector's item.

MBOMBELA – For three months, from August to October, every edition of Lowvelder will feature an image of Old Joe as he was painted over the decades.

This picture will be tucked away somewhere in each copy to be cut out and collected.

This weekly treasure hunt will appeal to young and old and will be a fascinating collection depicting the past of our area.

Do not miss the August 4 edition. That is when this fun event and prize-filled competition is launched, with the inclusion of a special collectors’ map.

Additional maps will be available at reception at Lowveld Media.

Make your brand part of the rich history and folklore of the Lowveld. Twenty-six images of Old Joe will be featured.

Twenty-six advertisers are invited to adopt one of these images from an available choice of fifty.

At a cost of R4 400 excluding VAT, any established local business can invest in an exciting exposure package.
