Four suspects wanted in connection with armed robbery

Police are looking for four armed robbers who ransacked a shop in Kamhlushwa on Thursday night.

TONGA – A shop owner was robbed at gunpoint in the East Gate section of Kamhlushwa on Thursday night.

According to the victim, four armed men entered the shop around 19:30, as he was about to close for the day.

They threatened him with their firearms and demanded money, then proceeded to ransack the shop.

They fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash and a cellphone.

Police are investigating a case of business robbery. They appeal to the community to come forward with any information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects by contacting Col Alex Mahlahlana on 082-464-6602.
