Head on collision claims one on R537

Sabie – One person has died late on Tuesday after they were involved in a head-on collision on the R537 between Sabie and Graskop.

According to Moeti Mmusi, spokesman for the Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison (DCSSL), the drivers had been travelling in a sedan and bakkie going in the opposite directions.

The driver of the sedan died while the passenger sustained serious injuries. The driver of the bakkie also sustained serious injuries.

The cause of the accident is not yet known.
