OHRIGSTAD – The local SAPS visited Laerskool Ohrigstad for their back-to-school campaign on Monday.Community Police Forum members and other associates within the sector also attended the event. Ohrigstad police spokesman, Sgt Kholofelo Phokane, addressed the pupils who were flanked by their principal and teachers. “If any of you is bullied at this school, please don’t be afraid to report the matter to your teachers and parents. Bullying is not accepted in this country,” said Phokane. He urged pupils to respect their elders and teachers. “We don’t want you to be scared of the police. We are your friends,” he added. Phokane told pupils to contact Childline on 0800-055-555 if they are being abused.
