The long-awaited youth cultural parade, which was set to take place last Saturday was called-off at the last minute due to legal implications, much to the disappointment of the organisers.

The march was supposed to start at Barberton Museum.

According to Angel Nxumalo, chairman of Angel and Public Relations (APR) the parade was supposed to be a build-up in preparation of African Vintage which will take place today at Barberton Westvaal.

She said young and upcoming entrepreneurs will showcase their craft at the event.

”The exhibition will also be open to well-established entrepreneurs but the main attraction will be the youth. We want to encourage and lure the youth and the community to love their cultures.

“We will motivate them to be entrepreneurs,” she said.
