New ballet school’s dancers prove their skills in their first examinations

Adelanté Ballet Studio, which opened its doors in Barberton earlier this year, had its first graduation event recently.

BARBERTON – Adelanté Ballet Studio, which opened its doors in Barberton earlier this year, had its first graduation event recently.

It was held at the Dutch Reformed Church hall.

According to Corné Fourie, owner of Adelanté, the students completed their first Dance Academy of South Africa examinations.

Tiffany Irons qualified for the major examination that took place at St Peter’s School in Mbombela.

“The students danced for their ballet examinations, national, classical and modern medals. They all passed very well and some of them passed with distinction. I am truly blessed and very proud of all my dancers,” said Fourie.
