Four budget activities in the Lowveld
Here are fun activities to keep you entertained this summer without emptying your pockets.

- Hiking:
The Lowveld offers some of the most beautiful hiking routes in the country. The ones that stand out is the Fanie Botha Hiking Trail (Sabie), Gustav Klingbiel Nature Reserve (Lydenburg), Kaapsehoop Hiking Trail, Blyde River Canyon and the route at the Lowveld National Botanical Garden (Mbombela). These trails are a good way to explore nature and be budget-savvy.

- Kruger National Park drive:
For only R93 per adult per day you have access to a wilderness full of possibilities. The Kruger National Park not only hosts the legendary Big Five, but is also home to gorgeous fauna and flora. To save even more money, pack a picnic basket beforehand and make use of one of their picnic spots for free.
