Burgersfort post office robbed
Eye witnesses told Steelburger/Lydenburg News that two men entered the building, pulled off guns and robbed the cashiers and undisclosed amount of cash before they drove off at the scene.
BURGERSFORT – Shoppers witnessed yet another robbery in town, the Burgersfort Post Office were the latest victims of the spate of robberies happening in the town. The Post office was robbed on Monday morning at about 11:45 .
Eye witnesses told Steelburger/Lydenburg News that two men entered the building, pulled off guns and robbed the cashiers and undisclosed amount of cash before they drove off at the scene. Burgersfort SAPS have confirmed that they are investigating an alleged robbery case.
This is the second robbery in just four days. Last Friday Factory shop was also robbed in the CBD.
