Bowls of fun

Members and the community gathered at the club to raise funds for four members who will represent the Mpumalanga team at the u/20 national bowling championships. 

Juan Buckingham, Marli Truter, Maurize Buckingham and Marco Jordaan were selected to be part of the team of nine players.

The nationals take place from March 25 to 28 in Bloemfontein.
The local bowling club wants to thank all locals who contributed to making this a successful event.

“We thank Pick n Pay for sponsoring us, as well as other donors,” said Yolandie Buckingham, social committee member of Lydenburg Bowling Club.

Six teams competed and the first and second prize winners were awarded frozen chickens and dozens of eggs.
