Athletes awarded medals at Highlands College
Flags with dragons painted on them were fluttering in the wind as each member of the school stood tall and proud. Although it was a day of competition, everybody had loads of fun.
BURGERSFORT – Pupils of Highlands College had loads of fun during their athletics day last Friday. They were divided into four teams for the event.
The blue team was called Frost House, the yellow team Phoenix House, the red team Highlands House and the green team Wyvern.

Records were also broken on the day. The best team for 2019 was Highlands House. Fatima Mahomed, Highlands College owner said all the teachers worked very hard to ensure that the athletics day was successful. “I would like to show my appreciation towards all the teachers and personnel for their dedication and hard work towards the school and learners.”
