BURGERSFORT – Khensani Khumalo (20) is a finalist in the Miss Inspire South Africa Pageant.
To qualify for the finals, she accumulated a massive 7 000 votes in the semi-finals.
Khumalo from Ga Motodi entered the Miss Inspire South Africa Pageant to extend the inspirational work she does in her community. She is also studying for a national diploma in management at the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT).

She said she grew up in a positive environment and that helped to nurture her inspirational personality. She was taught from a young age to always give back to the community. Previously she has donated groceries on various occasions to local orphanages in Tubatse. Her love of beauty contests started in her early days at primary school. She boasts an avalanche of crowns in modelling, which includes Miss Limpopo second princess 2018, Miss Mashamothane 2017 and Miss Mafate 2018.
The beautiful model said she knew from her early days that she is destined for greater heights in the modelling industry. “I enjoyed mimicking top models like Rolene Strauss and Ntandoyenkosi Kunene. I want to see myself participating in the Miss SA pageant.”
The young model thanked her mother Judith Khumalo, her relatives and people of Tubatse for the constant support. ” I wish to also thank local company Maventi construction for sponsoring my journey, as well as Angela Links, a fashion designer sponsoring me with a dress and swimwear.”
Khumalo is currently doing extensive community work to inspire others to give back. “I saw the Miss Inspire South Africa Pageant as the perfect platform to maximise my abilities. Being selfless is the first step to becoming inspirational.”

She said campaigning for Miss Inspire has been a challenge and she pleads with locals for support.
