BURGERSFORT – The Gatsi family in Dresden is pleading with locals to assist them in finding their 13-year-old daughter, Taneka Gatsi. She was last seen on February 26 leaving school with a friend.

The girl’s father, Office Gatsi said his daughter is a pupil at Bothashoek’s Mmiditsi Secondary School.

“It’s unusual for her not to come home. It was the first time she went to school and never returned, that’s unlike her. I asked everyone close to her about her whereabouts, but nobody knows. I also reported the matter to the Burgersfort SAPS, but there has been no successes in finding her.”

Her parents said the grade nine pupil left home in her school uniform, a yellow shirt and black trousers.

Anyone who might have seen her can contact Gatsi on 082-648-1023.
