Residents are up in arms about the lack of service delivery at the Lydenburg Licensing Department
People expressed their frustrations on social media and it seems that they receive the same treatment and non-compliance from the staff and spend endless time in a queue before being served

People now rather travel to Belfast and Sabie where transactions are done promptly where as at the local licensing department people have to go back more than once to renew their driver’s and learner licences.
Adding to these challenges, residents complained that the network is often off line.
According to the communications officer of the Mpumalanga Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison, Moeti Mmusi the department is not aware of any challenges at the local testing station and licensing department. However, the department will investigate if there are any hiccups in service delivery.
Once such are identified they will be dealt with accordingly.
