Calvin College awards the best pupils
The head boys and girls, bell ringer and prefects were also announced. One of the biggest awards on the day, Calvinite of the Year, went to grade 7 pupil, Buhle Mpofu.
BURGERSFORT – Calvin College acknowledged hard-working pupils with trophies and certificates during the school’s annual awards ceremony recently.
The prestigious event was organised at the school’s hall. The day started with the awarding of the Calvin Prep School learners before the secondary pupils were awarded in the afternoon.
The gongs were awarded to the best-performing pupils in each subject, top-performing pupils in each grade, Mathematics Olympiad, the debate team, robotics team and many more.

Performances by drum majorettes, poems and various dances were done by the pupils to entertain the guests. The management of the school concluded by thanking the sponsors who assisted in making the event a success.
