Nelspruit SPCA fun day proves a treat for all

MBOMBELA – It was well-supported by the community and included a six- and 12-kilometre trail run. The entry fees for these could be paid with either pet food or a cash donation.

There were plenty of other activities and competitions to keep the children busy, as well as an auction, a mini-market and well-known local performers such as Brian Wilkinson and Jonathan Peyper and Band.

Margaret Adams of the SPCA thanked everyone who supported the event, on the SPCA Nelspruit Facebook Page.

Around 40 bags of dog and cat food were donated, and at the end of the day R6 500 had been collected.
