Dentists partner up to keep teeth cavity free
Keeping a beautiful smile on their patients’ faces through dental care was Dr Suliman Patel (dentist) and Dr Salebona David Kutumela’s (orthodontist) goal.
On November 2 they assisted more than 50 patients when they opened their free dental and orthodontic consultations to the public.
They offer these free consultations to the public fairly regularly within their specific rooms and have now taken it beyond the city limits. Patel and Kutumela work as a team to treat patients in their rooms.

They said it is their way of giving back to the community and to help those who need dental care but cannot afford it. Some patients receive discounted prices for their treatment, depending on circumstances.
They also travel to some schools in Mbombela and surroundings to teach the kids the importance of dental care.
Patel and Kutumela both charge medical aid tariffs and help cash patients as well. These regular events are organised by their marketing manager, Iante-Lune Tecklenburg.
