WATCH: McDonald’s busts its way into little hearts

The treat forms part of a partnership between McDonald’s Nelspruit and Lowvelder. Each week we choose a class of a local school and bust it with free burgers and juices for lunch.

Laerskool Nelspruit surprised with lunch and juices

One of Laerskool Nelspruit’s grade three classes were the lucky recipients of last Friday’s McDonald’s Nelspruit burger bust. Teacher Suritha van Heerden, was nominated by a parent because of her dedication and willingness to go the extra mile.

Van Heerden was pleasantly surprised and the class echoed her excitement with a huge thumbs up for the treat. The youngsters’ excitement matched their teacher’s surprise at the welcome snack.

Their admiration of Van Heerden showed in the way a number of the pupils lined up and requested to have their picture taken with her.
