Much needed rain received with open arms

With temperatures that were in the mid 40’s, all were hoping for relief to come soon. The town was without rain for nearly a year en the local dam’s levels were dropping drastically. On last week Monday the heavens were open pouring the much needed rain in and around town. One would think that the rain would make residents hesitant to face the outdoors, but this case it was not so. Armed with boots, umbrellas and warm clothing, people were still seen on the streets going about their business.

The only question remaining is whether or not the rainfall was enough to raise the dam and river levels.
