Residents to be without water for hours

Nelsville residents can expect to be without water for approximately nine hours on Tuesday 14 January.

This disruption is due to construction work to be undertaken to connect the new water pump line and gravity line in Nelsville from 08:00 until 17:00.

This disruption will only affect the Nelsville area.

Residents in the Steiltes areas are urged to use water sparingly during this mentioned period.

“We apologize for any inconvenience that this might cause. We will endeavour to minimise the shutdown period required and will liaise with you, to keep you informed of the progress of works. Kindly report any water leaks and interruptions to 086-174-5858.”

The Silulumanzi team added that any enquiries or emergencies could be handled via their after hours standby team who can be contacted on 086-174-5858.
