Development fees paid by Sbusiso Mhlanga Legacy
"It took five hours to raise the money that paid for 35 pupils"

More than 30 parents told the principal they cannot pay the development fee of R100 for their children at Sekusile Primary School.
Sbusiso Mhlanga and Friends Legacy went the extra mile to help these schoolchildren. The founder of this foundation, Sbusiso Mhlanga, explained what ensued on the day of schools reopening last week.

“I visited Sekusile Primary School to meet up with the principal. It touched me when I overheard the cries of parents that they couldn’t afford to pay the annual fee. The principal gave them a period of three months to pay fees. I said to myself that we can help the situation by having a donation campaign.”
The campaign was held in KaMaqhekeza at the traffic lights last week to raise funds.
“It took five hours to raise the money that paid for 35 pupils. My friends and I created a social media platform for collecting money to pay school fees for the needy kids,” Mhlanga added.

Sbusiso Mhlanga and Friends Legacy started in 2017. The main aim of the foundation is to help children in need, especially with disabilities and underprivileged schoolgoing kids.
