Public welcome at business chamber meet
The Hazyview Chamber of Business and Tourism will hold a public meeting to update the community on two issues of great importance to the area.
The chamber’s Chris Harvie said business and tourism operators, as well as interested residents of Hazyview and surrounding areas, are welcome to attend the meeting on Tuesday, February 4.
“The Hazyview Festival will be held on the weekend of May 15 to 17 and we have updates on the plans for the event. We also want to show our members how they can benefit from the festival.
“We hope to see everyone at the meeting. We have to make a success of this weekend and we must ensure that it becomes an annual event that will put our town back on the map,” he said.
Harvie said the second point on the agenda relates to the Hazyview City Improvement District and reaching a way forward in dealing with poor service delivery and municipal issues in town.
The meeting will be held at Casa do Sol and will start at 14:30.
