Visiting times at all hospitals revised by Mpumalanga Department of Health
The Department of Health revised the patient visiting times in all hospitals for the duration of the Covid-19 outbreak.

The current head of Mpumalanga’s Department of Health, Dr Savera Mohangi, sent out a message with the revised times.
Following the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, the department has put in place measures to contain the spread of the virus in the province.
For this purpose, the department has taken a decision to review the visiting times and the number of visitors per patient in all provincial hospitals.

The following measures have been put in place until further notice:
- Patients in ICU (Critical Care) will have only one visitor.
- For all the other wards, not more than two visitors per patient, only one allowed at a time.
- For more than 10 visitors in the ward at a time, there will be a maximum of 15 minutes.
- Visiting times has been reviewed as follows: Daily 14:00 to 15:00
These changed visiting times must be implemented in all hospitals and be brought to the attention of all staff
