Dullstroom: Possible first corona case
Protocol will now be followed and the CDC will be conducting contact tracing.

LYDENBURG – The tourist town of Dullstroom might have its first positive COVID-19 case.
Various reliable sources told the newspaper that the person was tested for the virus at Belfast hospital.
“The results were, however, not sent to the department of health immediately after the diagnoses but it has been confirmed,” a source told the newspaper.
Steelburger/Lydenburg News is in the possession of the test results and communication of the source with the Centre for Disease Control (CDC).
Protocol will now be followed and the CDC will be conducting contact tracing.
The newspaper contacted Dumisani Malamule of the department of health in Mpumalanga.
Malamule said that the case would have been referred to the national health department.
“I will follow up with the information provided and provide feedback on the matter as soon as I can,” Malamule said.
In the meantime residents in Dullstroom have been informed of the case and are urged to take all necessary precautions.
