Sekhukhune DCC happy with the reopening of schools

The commitee said  efforts are in place to ensure mobile sanitation facilities are speedily provided to schools.

SEKHUKHUNE – The Sekhukhune Covid-19 District Command Council (DCC) said an overwhelming majority of schools reopened yesterday.

Nakgwadi Secondary School was visited by members of the DCC.

The DCC is yet to receive a report of Sekhukhune East.

The commitee said  efforts are in place to ensure mobile sanitation facilities are speedily provided to those five schools.

The DCC said almost all schools in the district were provided with water.

” While our district remains the epicenter of Covid-19 infections in the Limpopo province, the DCC welcomes the recoveries that have been recorded.

“However, we caution communities that the war against Covid-19 isn’t over and we urge all members of the public to observe precautions,” said chairperson of the DCC, Keamotseng Stanley Ramaila.

The DCC said it is  committed  to continue working hand in glove with the mining companies to ensure compliance of health protocols, with the aim of curbing the spread of Covid-19.
