It’s a spooky affair with Voodoo Kudu at Dros in Mbombela

Local band Voodoo Kudu took Dros Nelspruit by storm with an energetic performance on Halloween recently

The band took to the stage on Friday October 30, playing a few original songs with several covers added to the mix.

The stage was decorated to the nines with spooky Halloween items such as scary skeletons, creepy spiders and bright, colourful witches hats and jack-o’-lanterns.

Friends and family filled the restaurant’s tables inside and out, enjoying a fun night filled with good food, great music and Halloween decorations to put most haunted houses to shame.

The band started its set at around 18:00, playing throughout the evening to pockets of happy listeners.

Voodoo Kudu band member Michael Clarke said the event “went very well”.

“Every performance we do is awesome. Every time we play we make it memorable,” said Clarke.

“The whole evening was a lot of fun, I think the whole band enjoyed it when the crowd started singing along with us,” he said.

Clarke added that the band would be playing again this weekend at Cafe Rock and Throttle and at Kingfishers Country Kitchen.
