September is twice as lekker!
Heritage Day is celebrated on September 24 and World Tourism Day on September 27.

Not only is September Tourism Month, it is also Heritage Month and in South Africa – with the growing trend of heritage or cultural tourism – the two celebrations have become intertwined. The month is devoted to South Africa’s amazing scenery, must-visit sites, its languages, people and traditions.

Together we grow
The United Nations World Tourism Organisation’s theme for World Tourism Day 2021 is ‘Tourism for inclusive growth’. According to the organisation, the tourism sector, which generates one in 10 jobs in the world, reduces poverty and contributes significantly to providing a better future for people, is a catalyst for positive change.
