Riverview Preparatory School braves interhouse in blazing heat

Riverview Preparatory School had its annual interhouse athletics meeting on Friday January 21.

All the learners made the most of the day in the blazing sun.

The athletes were divided into two teams, the red team being the Hornbills and the blue team the Rollers. Some records were broken during the day.

Gift Silinda broke two records in long jump, jumping 4.17m and running the 100m in 14.5 seconds. Kerubel Gulele broke the record early in the morning, running the 1 500m in five minutes and 44 seconds.

The learners and the teachers enjoyed a day full of fun and celebrations, while some athletes had the opportunity to break personal records.
