Dynamics Mind Day broadens minds at Mpunzana Primary

Mpunzana Primary School organised a Dynamics Mind Day for its learners on January 28, with the help of the South African National Defense Force (SANDF) and Old Mutual.

The purpose of the day was to give donations to the children and to inspire them with what their futures could be.

The school went all out for its learners as SANDF, Old Mutual, SPAR and members of Mpumalanga’s Department of Education spent their day at the school motivating them to have hope for their future.

Capt SK Maseko and other crucial members of the SANDF explained their different roles in the defense force to the learners and donated shoes to some of the children. Many enjoyed Capt Maseko’s humour and wisdom as he played his part as the day’s MC.

David Makhubela of Old Mutual oversaw that the sponsored sanitary products to the schoolgirls were provided as part of the day’s donation. SPAR sponsored 400 lunch packs to the children to ensure that the Dynamics Day was a feast for all.

Miss Teen Universe finalist Nosipho Mbolekwa of Lowveld High in Mbombela was also invited to be an example of hard work, and inspired some learners to chase their dreams and stand strong for what they believed in.

A member of parliament, Desmond Moela, and Cllr Thobile Ngomane also had their fair share of opportunities to thank principal KL Shabalala of Mpunzana Primary for organising the day for her learners.

“It was an honour to see so many smiles at one school. We always appreciate outside and motivation to inspire the children to be more. We are grateful for Mpunzana for taking extra steps for its learners and hope all schools follow its example,” said circuit manager Thandi Masango.
