Rocking for CANSA at Kingfisher

This fundraiser for CANSA was held at Kingfisher on Saturday, February 26. Acoustics.

It was an evening of rock and roll and head-banging as the Rocking for CANSA event at Kingfisher got under way on Saturday February 26.

This fundraiser for CANSA was orgainsed by Stewarts and Lloyds’ Clyde Morgan, Keralee Mommsen of Kingfisher and Ryan Grunow of The Acoustics.

As people arrived at the eatery, the Stewarts and Lloyds staff stood at the ready with various colours of hair spray, enticing patrons to have their hair sprayed for a good cause.

Soon, the restaurant was filled with customers sporting bright green, pink, blue and red hair.

Starting off the event was Phoenix Dee, followed by Mel Davis, Voodoo Kudu, The Acoustics and DJ Cush.

The event was also sponsored by a craft gin label, Ginne Vrinne, who gave R5 to CANSA for each gin bought at the event..

Stewarts and Lloyds staff spray the hair of Kingfisher patrons for CANSA.

Kingfisher’s staff also joined in by wearing rock and roll-themed attire.

The audience cheered each of the performers, dancing and singing their evening away for a good cause.
