Die Windomp pumps at sold-out Brendan Peyper show

The sold-out show started at 19:00 at Die Windpomp in White River.

It was a completely sold-out show for singer Brendan Peyper at Die Windpomp on Saturday March 12.

The fans, their families and friends filled the restaurant that evening, ready for the much-anticipated performance from Peyper, who took to the stage at 19:00.

The local singer, Lonita Swift, warmed up the crowd with her powerful voice belting out several popular Afrikaans and English covers. As soon as Peyper got onto the stage, the crowd erupted in whistles, claps and cheers.

Singing several original songs such as “Lekkerder op my trekker”, “Stop, wag, bly nog ‘n bietjie” and “Trouvrou”, as well as some English covers like Ed Sheeran’s “Castle on the Hill”, he wowed the crowd with his energy.

The well-liked singer soon had the crowd up on the dance floor, while their children spent the evening playing on the jumping castle to their heart’s content.
