Thrifters delight in Huis Betlehem clothing market

Huis Bethlehem held its first thrift sale of the year on Saturday, March 12.

Thrifters and bargain hunters flocked to Huis Betlehem for the safe haven’s thrift sale over the weekend.

Huis Betlehem’s Edna Nel said the sale was set to start at 09:00 on Saturday March 12. However, before it started, six people were already queueing, ready to grab
some items.

The sale had some carefully curated clothes such as Sissy Boy and Guess jeans, elegant dresses and beautiful blouses, a dream come true for thrifters.

“We had our last sale exactly a year ago,” said Nel. “We were really busy on Saturday morning and had a good response from the community. We want to hold this sale twice a year. It takes us about six months to gather all these wonderful clothes, so we hope to hold our next sale soon.”
