CANSA Relay for Life with a bit of a twist this year

It is the CANSA Relay for Life this weekend, sign up now.

The CANSA Relay for Life will take place at Eagle’s View Park on Saturday April 9, with an added mountain biking event to spice things up.

Different from other years, this event will not go on until the next morning, but end at 19:00.

Mountain bikers will start off the morning with the MTB for CANSA at 08:00 and complete as many 4.9-kilometre laps as they can in two hours.  The entry fee is R90, but kids under 12 can join in for free. Sign up online here: https://bit.ly/MTBCansa.

Next up will be the CANSA Relay for Life in which runners and walkers can complete as many 1.75-kilometre laps as they can in 90 minutes. The cost per individual is R90 or R900 for teams of between 10 and 15 members.

If you plan on attending this year’s Relay for Life, you can register online until Friday, or opt for on-site registration on the day. Registration will start
at 15:00.
