Three men die on N4 Toll Road
Three men were killed in a collision between an articulated truck and two sedans on N4 Toll Road towards Mbombela near the Mara turn-off on March 30.
The reports indicated the vehicles had all been heading towards Mbombela from Malalane, when the crash took place at about 21:00. The three died on the scene, but the truck driver escaped unharmed. The sedans involved were a Nissan Sentra and a Toyota Cressida.
According to the emergency unit, it is believed that one of the sedans was towing the other when both lost control and veered in front of the truck. The towed sedan smashed into the truck, killing the three instantly.
