Crafty items, delicious snacks in Kaapsehoop
The Berrylicious Easter Fair treated locals to a sunny day of treats and treasures over the Easter weekend.
Nestled in the back streets of Kaapsehoop on Friday was the Berrylicious Easter Fair, which showcased local crafters and cooks’ talents.
Whether you were looking for a sweet treat, a refreshing salad, some Easter-inspired crafts, or one-of-a-kind jewellery, there was something to tickle everyone’s fancy.

The organiser of the fair, Berry Legg, said the day went very well.
“I do this about three times a year to promote local businesses. The people who come here are invited by me.
“It is not to make money. The stallholders give a gift of R50 or R100, which goes into a lucky draw. Every half an hour we draw a name and a shopper who has purchased something during that time, wins a prize.”

Legg said the idea is to promote local quality products. “Everything is handmade and made with love.”
