The SDBIP gives effect to the adjusted capital and operating projects budget as per council resolution.
“The fact that Covid-19 has been with us for this long, has unfortunately had an impact on our organisational collection rate and performance in terms of planned targets and indicators. The municipality’s forward plan is to ensure that at the end of the financial year, we have spent most of our infrastructure development grants. Infrastructure development is important in addressing some issues related to the triple challenges of unemployment, poverty and inequality that are faced by our communities,” said Makhushe.
