A garden full of gin and tunes in Mbombela

With a variety of musicians and gins from which to choose, the Hall & Bramley Lowveld Gin Fest provided for the perfect Saturday outing.

Gin and music lovers alike blended with nature at the Hall & Bramley Lowveld Gin Fest throughout Saturday in the Lowveld National Botanical Garden.  From mid-morning, an array of gin tasting options were available to sample from the complimentary gin glasses attendees received upon entry.

With a drink in hand and maybe a snack bought from one of the vendors, the festivalgoers enjoyed the day in the sun. As the afternoon set in, Stix and Brian Wilkinson got the music started, followed by Matthew Mole and GoodLuck later that evening.

Despite a bit of rain towards the end of Mole’s set, the crowd persevered and were well rewarded with the sounds of GoodLuck. The band’s lead singer, Juliet Harding, was seen dancing into the crowd. She loved the energy of the crowd and said it even left her with a stitch.
