Lowveld ladies enjoy night out with Rooikat Liquors

The doors opened at 16:00 at Mustangs - The Dancing Place for the ladies of the Lowveld on May 7.

Organisers are already making plans for the next Rooikat Liquors ladies’ night next year following a sold-out event full of fun and dancing on Saturday night, May 7.

Held at the popular Mustangs – The Dancing Place, the doors opened at 16:00 for the Lowveld’s lovely ladies, offering a large variety of alcohol from gin and champagne, to vodka and much more.

By 17:30, the venue was buzzing with women of all ages, some dressing up in feather boas, cowgirl hats, cat ear headbands and even mermaid-themed headbands.

By 18:00, the dance floor was packed, as the women enjoyed the danced and cheered one another on.  The ladies’ night ended at 20:00 when the afterparty started, and men were allowed to enter the venue, too.

ooikat Liquors’ Johan Breytenbach said they would definitely be holding another ladies’ night next May, and that it would be bigger and better than Saturday’s event.

“We cannot wait for the next one,” Breytenbach said.
