People have a wonderful time at farmer’s market

The monthly Perry Farmer's Market at Elephant Whispers attracted people from far and wide on Saturday April 30.

If market goers wanted a good parking spot, they would have had to arrive early before the market opened at 09:00. With more than 30 stalls, there was something for everyone.

The market was packed with fine art, fashion, good food and refreshing drinks to keep visitors energised. Live music echoed through the grounds and added to the atmosphere as people supported new and regular sellers.

“One would think we can estimate how many people would attend the market day, but we are always surprised as the numbers are growing. We could not have been more grateful for the support,” said the organiser of the Perry Farmer’s Market, Marlene Howie.

The market is usually on the last Saturday of the month, but as special holidays and events arise, more events like this will be held in Hazyview.
