With excitement growing for the annual Lowvelder Pub Crawl, we introduce you to the local pubs that will make your experience full of fun, laughter and prizes.
The Pub welcomes you to the Pub Crawl
The Pub, one of the Lowveld’s favourite places to drink and be merry, is gearing up to welcome one and all to the Lowvelder Pub Crawl taking place on Saturday October 29.
Entrenched within the city for the last 22 years, The Pub is a popular watering hole offering fantastic food, live music and great drink specials.
Priding itself on its lekker family-friendly environment, The Pub’s longtime owner, Etienne Coetzee, has promised a day filled with fun, the making of good memories, and of course, difficult-to-beat drink and pizza specials on the day of the Pub Crawl.
To keep things interesting, there will be a random 10-minute “happy hour” every hour.
If hunger strikes while participating in the Pub Crawl, do not fear, as regular pizzas will be sold for just R60 and thirsty patrons will be able to purchase two double Klipdrifts and Pepsi for R60.
“It is going to be a good time for everyone. Make sure you do not miss out on the fun,” said Coetzee.

Ander reeds bestaande spesiale aanbiedings sluit in whisky, vodka én Tipo Tinto en raspberry in. As die honger jou toevallig tydens die strawwe pub crawl-kompetisie tref terwyl jy hiér is, is daar geen rede vir kommer nie.

Vintage Lapa Pub awaits you
It’s the vibe and the people that make the Vintage Lapa Pub a place you want to be on October 29 – and every other day, for that matter.
Gearing up for the Lowvelder Pub Crawl on this date, the owner, Rudi Schoeman, said they have lekker specials planned to get you excited to get those two stamps at the door and at the bar.
You can get a double KWV and mix for only R20. R50 will get you two double Imagine Gins plus a scratch card, and buying four shots of ponchos at R100 will earn you two scratch cards.
And these are just the specials tailored to the pub crawl! Along with that, they have their normal specials on whisky, vodka, a 350g T-bone and more.
Schoeman said at the Vintage Lapa Pub they are always friendly, everyone knows everyone, and if you don’t, you’re bound to make some new friends.
Add to that the fact that there’s always a fire ready for you to braai on, you might just find yourself returning there after the pub crawl.
