The Wildside Enduro thrills and spills on challenging course in Badplaas

Fierce competition, revving engines and breathtaking views were only some of the key aspects of this motorcycle endurance race.

Forever Badplaas Wildside Enduro Race took place on February 11, and was a thrilling and intense event that brought together thousands of adrenaline junkies from all over the country.

The race, held in the stunning surroundings of the Hlumuhlumu Mountain range, was a test of endurance and skill for the participants who tackled the rugged terrain on their motorcycles.

It is one of the year’s most highly anticipated events, and this year’s did not disappoint. The course was designed to challenge even the most experienced riders and it proved to be a test of strength and endurance as participants tackled steep climbs and technical descents in the harsh South African wilderness.

One of the highlights was the stunning scenery that surrounded the course. The riders took in the breathtaking views. The sound of the revving engines echoed through the valleys and the smell of burnt rubber filled the air as participants pushed themselves to the limit. The competition was fierce and the atmosphere was electric as the riders battled for the top spot.

In the end it was Heinrich Aust who emerged victorious, completing the challenging course. He has been riding since he was a child. He was ecstatic about his win and said it was tough.


The Forever Badplaas Wildside Enduro Race is more than just a race, it is a celebration of the freedom and excitement of motorcycle racing.
Participants and spectators alike were able to enjoy a weekend filled with action, music and great company. The event organisers may be applauded for putting on such a fantastic event that brought together more than 220 riders and fans from all over the country.

The race proved to be the start of a very successful racing season. Next year’s has already been marked on the calendar, and a full racing programme for the rest of the year was compiled. All events will be held in the Lowveld.

Riders and spectators are already looking forward to another weekend of high-octane Extreme Enduro Racing coming up on March 4.
