Support Hospice White River’s pancake sale
Who would say no to pancakes on a potentially rainy day? No April Fools here, Hospice White River has you covered with its pancake sale at Pick n Pay on April 1.
Whether you preorder or buy one on the day, make sure you get your share of pancakes from the White River Hospice’s pancake sale.
The Yti-Pan-Inni-Pens baking team will be preparing your pancakes at Pick n Pay in White River on Saturday April 1 from 07:00 to 15:00.
The event’s organiser, Johan Maritz, thanked the community and local businesses that sponsored all the ingredients. This means each pancake sold is a profit to the hospice.

The baking team will not only be behind the pans and act as hosts, they are also sponsoring the infrastructure, packaging and gas for the day. Maritz thanked them for their generosity, too.
The hospice’s manager, Terran Gericke, said she would like to invite the community to come and support Hospice White River on the day.
“All funds from the pancake sales will be going towards providing palliative care to White River residents. Without the love and support we get from the community, we would not be able to provide this much-needed care. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”
