Fatal accident on N4 results in partial closure between Arlie and Hemlock interchanges

A head-on collision involving a truck and a sedan took place early this morning, June 16.

The N4 eastbound towards Mbombela between the Arlie Interchange and Hemlock Interchange has been partially closed due to an accident that took place around 04:00 today, June 16.

The head-on collision involved a truck and a sedan. One fatality has been reported.

TRACN4’s spokesperson, Solange Soares, said a stop-and-go is currently in place to allow the flow of traffic.

“The road will be opened once the pathologists have cleared scene. Although traffic is flowing, motorists are advised to drive slowly in that area.”
