Westbound N4 lane between Kaapmuiden and Matsulu cleared
An overturned diesel tanker on the westbound lane on the N4 between Kaapmuiden and Matsulu has been removed.

The N4’s westbound lane in the direction of Pretoria, between Kaapmuiden and Matsulu, was opened again on June 25.
The lane had been closed in the early afternoon following the overturning of a diesel tanker and subsequent diesel spillage.

TRAC’s Solange Soares and the Mpumalanga Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison’s spokesperson, Moeti Mmusi, said there were reports of people trying to steal some diesel from the tanker.
Mmusi said both TRAC and traffic officials were on the scene, and that the tanker has now been removed and the road reopened.
