The perfect warm-up for this Lowveld winter held at Mustangs

The evenings are known to get a bit on the colder side, but if you attended this music festival on June 28 you surely did not mind the weather conditions at all.

The Winter Warm-Up Music Festival at Mustangs – The Dancing Place featured some white hot artists, including Gerhard Steyn and Juan Boucher. Pieter Marcato and Voodoo Kudu joined in on the fun as well.

The evening was fun for the whole family with Steyn singing some of his favourites like “Baby Tjoklits” and Boucher giving a memorable performance of his hit song “Gebore om by jou te wees”.

“Both bands and artists were part of the evening’s highlights. Everyone enjoyed the show,” Bejanke Nel of Mustangs told Lowvelder.

Apart from the 340-strong crowd singing and dancing the night away, the Warm-Up Festival was also the perfect event to kick-start this year’s Innibos.

“As Innibos started on a Wednesday the previous years and not a Thursday like this year, we decided to wake the fees gees early on already.”

One thing is certain, this warm-up surely was the perfect thing to fight off the winter cold.
