Still no sign of missing Barberton man
Hi-Tech Barberton employee, Erik Vermaak, is still missing with no new leads.
Frederick (Erik) Vermaak, a control room operator of Hi-Tech Barberton, was last seen on July 22 at 05:00 and is still missing.
A missing person’s case has been opened.
The last time he was seen was when he was dropped off at home in De Villiers Street, Barberton, after completing his night shift.

According to reports, he apparently left home an hour later in his white Nissan Hardbody double-cab 3 000L V6 with a black roll and nudge bar, registration CFG 620 MP.
Sakkie Dednam of Hi-Tech Barberton said aerial searches had been carried out on July 23 and 24, but none yielded results. Dednam said on July 25 that there was still no news and no new leads.
