The Burgersfort SAPS requests help in locating a 94-year-old woman

The woman has been diagnosed with dementia and has been missing since June 24.

Nkhikhinyane Malepe (94) was last seen at a church service in the Mapodile township, outside Steelpoort. She is a resident of the Ga-Radingwane Village, in the neighbouring Burgersfort.

She was attending a church service with her granddaughter and was last seen at 17:20. Her family confirmed that she had been diagnosed with dementia.

“According to reports, Malepe left the premises without informing anyone where she was going and has since disappeared,” said Colonel Malesela Ledwaba, spokesperson for the Limpopo SAPS.

Efforts to locate Malepe among relatives, friends, and surrounding areas were not successful, and police have launched a search operation.
Police have urged anyone with information to contact Crime Stop on 0860 010 111 or their nearest police station. Her family can also be reached on 082 675 5462.
