The Gospel Meets Soul Festival on Sunday was just as well attended.
It was also the first time Cheru Swart performed at a gospel festival of this magnitude. Swart won the best vocal artist category in Lydenburg’s Got Talent last year.

“Cheru wasn’t the only local artist we gave a platform to. Local promoters I must give credit to are Ezabogwana Media, Kasie Culture, Ideas4Life, Street Poortjie, Yvonne Masilela, Promise Malebe, SXChillas (Sabie), Deepsound and Grob Chesanyana,” said the organiser of the event, Tebogo Mike Moipolai.

Moipolai thanked the Mashishing community and the artists who attended the event from across the country and even Swaziland.
